TRAINING DAY

The February Training Day for all staff will be Thursday February 23rd. Penistone Surgery will be closed from 1pm and will reopen at 5pm. Thurgoland surgery will also be closed on this afternoon.

THURGOLAND SURGERY REDEVELOPMENT

Work on the redevelopment of Thurgoland surgery begins on January 23rd and is due to be completed by Autumn 2012. The existing surgery will not be affected by these changes. The new Thurgoland surgery can be used by Penistone Group Practice patients.

PATIENT CALLING SYSTEM

From MONDAY the 16th JANUARY, patients at the Surgery will be called into the Doctors/Nurses room by the large TV screens in the reception area.

PENISTONE SURGERY CAR PARK

The car park is for use by patients of the surgery and the Dentist's practice only.  Entry will be through the IN barrier which will open automatically when a car approaches. After visiting the surgery or dentist a token must be obtained from reception or dispensary as this will be needed to open the exit barrier onto Sycamore Walk.

N.B.  For the foreseeable future the exit barrier will not be in use and patients will not require a token to leave the car park. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Regular checks will be made to ensure cars parked in the surgery are patients attending the Doctors and Dentists. Any person not attending the surgery may be liable to a fine.

We are pleased to announce that our list is now open to new patients moving to the area and any patients wishing to join from other practices.
