Confidential Service
Doctors, nurses and all the staff at Penistone Group
Practice have a duty to keep information about patients
confidential. This applies to children as well as
adults.
This means we will not tell your parents, your school or
anyone else outside the practice that you have attended
the surgery or what you came about.
Only in exceptional circumstances would a doctor or
nurse pass on information about you, for example if
there were concerns that there was a serious risk to
your health and safety or the health and safety of
others. The doctor or nurse would usually talk to you
about it before passing information on. |
